Our Vision As A Church
to focus on Jesus in all we do both within our church and our community;
to consistently grow in numbers and in our relationship with God;
to be united in our need for and support of each other, and
to be open to all, welcoming and valuing each person.

What We Believe

We believe:

  • That the world was made by God and entrusted to the human race to look after.
  • That the relationship between mankind and God was spoiled when His laws were broken.
  • This broken relationship affects all people, and by ourselves we cannot repair it.
  • God's great love for the world continued in spite of our wilful rebellion.
  • He came to this world in Jesus Christ His Son, who showed what true humanity was.
  • Three days after His death, Jesus was resurrected by the action of God and is now alive for evermore.
  • The Holy Spirit is God's gift to enable us to live according to the will of God.
  • By acknowledging Jesus as Son of God, and accepting the gift of forgiveness He offers, people can be put right with God and know Him as Father and Friend.
  • God is at work in the world today by His Spirit, and through the church is calling people to return where they belong - with Him.
